The Minor Operation Theatre is a fully equipped facility designed for minor surgical procedures, wound care interventions, and specialized Ayurvedic para-surgical therapies. The theatre provides a sterile environment and is equipped with all necessary instruments and facilities for outpatient and inpatient procedures.

Special emphasis is placed on Ayurvedic surgical and para-surgical techniques, including:

  • Vrana Chikitsa (Wound Management): Treatment of acute and chronic wounds using medicated decoctions (Vrana Ropaka Kashayas), herbal pastes (Kalka), oils, and dressings that promote healing and prevent infection.
  • Agnikarma: Therapeutic cauterization using specially designed metallic Shalakas for the management of musculoskeletal disorders, chronic pain conditions, plantar warts, and certain localized lesions.
  • Raktamokshana: Bloodletting therapy, particularly Jalaukavacharana (Leech Therapy), which is widely employed in the management of inflammatory conditions, varicose ulcers, non-healing wounds, vascular disorders, and selected dermatological diseases.
  • Kshara Karma: Application of medicated alkaline preparations for the treatment of hemorrhoids, fistula-in-ano, warts, corns, and other localized growths.
  • Minor Surgical Procedures: Suturing, abscess drainage, wound debridement, excision of small lesions, foreign body removal, dressing procedures, and biopsy collection.

The Minor OT plays a crucial role in delivering minimally invasive, cost-effective, and efficient treatment options while maintaining strict standards of sterility and patient safety.
