• Panchakarma therapies are intended to detoxify/cleanse the body. These procedures check abnormal Doshas (humors) accumulated due to seasonal changes as well as faulty lifestyle, hence applicable for preventive, promotive & curative aspects. Acharya Sushruta included Rakthamokshana under Pradhana Karma & merged Niruha & Anuvasana into one as Basti Karma.
